Welcome to Future Business Leaders of Spelman! Our mission is to act as a catalyst for social change by increasing the representation of women of color within the corporate space. We strive to connect with different resources, companies, and industry leaders to help our members thrive and become the future leaders of tomorrow.
How do we fulfill our mission?
FBLS fulfills its mission by fostering corporate sponsorships and mentorships, increasing post-collegiate opportunities, as well as shining a light on women in the workplace and business realm. Additionally, members of FBLS members will perpetually gain the professional skills necessary to start their own businesses, excel in interviews, and network with other professionals.
Overall, the Future Business Leaders of Spelman is a community of innovators and students willing to take risks to gain big rewards. Many of our members, current and past, have owned their own business or start up company. Many of our members have interned with large corporations like JP Morgan, Bloomberg, and Deloitte. As well as Forbes 30 under 30 recipients.
