Established in May 2017, Future Business Leaders of Spelman (FBLS) emerged as a pioneering force on the campus of Spelman College. Founded and chartered by sophomores Jessika Dickerson (left)  and Alyssa Daniel (right), FBLS was conceived as a dynamic platform dedicated to advancing the professional development of women of color. 

 

Since its inception, FBLS has experienced remarkable growth and evolution, establishing itself as a beacon of opportunity and empowerment. Central to our mission is the provision of comprehensive workshops focused on essential skills such as interview techniques, resume refinement, and professional presentation. 

 

Over the years, FBLS has diligently cultivated strategic partnerships with esteemed organizations, broadening our network and enhancing the scope of our programming. Notable collaborators include industry giants such as Wells Fargo, McKinsey & Co, Deloitte, Creative Arts Agency, and Syracuse Law. As we continue to forge ahead, FBLS remains steadfast in its commitment to equipping our members with the tools, resources, and opportunities necessary to excel in the competitive landscape of business and beyond.
